Why I Chose the Genre of Drama
I chose the drama genre because drama movies are always interesting and include unexpected turns in the story that keeps the viewer in the edge of their seat. It has the best parts of most other genres like mystery and romance. So many classic movies fall under the drama genre such as Titanic , The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Forrest Gump, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and the list goes on. All of the movies have a few things in common. Each one has a characters or characters that the audience is forced to fall in love and they each face some type of adversity that they must overcome. The opening scenes of these movies usually start out with background on the characters or show the setting in which the movie is going to take place.
